AP&T’s and Cell Impact’s concept for cost-efficient, large-scale manufacturing of fuel cell plates has taken an important step towards a commercial breakthrough.

Suzhou China Hydrogen, a Chinese fuel cell company, has placed its first order for prototype bipolar cell fuel plates that are designed to be manufactured in accordance with the new concept. The order is in line with the existing declaration of intent for strategic collaboration between the companies. The prototypes will be manufactured in Sweden and be delivered during Q3 2017.

“The order paves the way for increased collaboration with Suzhou China Hydrogen, and enables growth within yet another area in the important Chinese market,” says Senior Advisor Jan Jonasson, Marketing and Sales at AP&T.
